United Sounds

Overview

During this project we were challenged to make a news story about students involved in the school that was current. We decided to do a club called United Sounds. United Sounds is a club that band students teach other students who wouldn't normally get the chance to play an instrument. The story is very inspiring because it shows students caring of others. After deciding this story we went to a practice to film.

Filming 

When filming we were focusing on natural sound which we were able to get a lot of. We were able to get the different sounds of the instants and communication of the students. Another step we did while filming was getting the different shots for a variety of b-roll. We than got interviews with students and mentor to get different opinions.

Editing Process

While editing I used 3 sound step process at the beginning by showcasing the natural sound. After going through the interviews I found the different parts of the interview to put into the video. Than I looked through all different types of b-roll. After that I added the voice-overs. I included the piece by talking about there Christmas concert.
