Sidewalk Chalk Experience
Over the three days, as a group we created a symbol that represented us and a group at the same time. We first had a talk about symbols and color of what they meant to us. Then we got into a group of four and created are own symbols. The next day we took all four symbols and made it into a cohesive design. Once we decided on a design we all agreed on we went outside and brought our creation to life. Than we picked a square and made four different puzzle pieces. Each of us got our own piece of the puzzle to draw the symbol that represent and thats how we created out sidewalk chalk piece.
For my symbol that I drew I had some roses, earth, basket and the background was purple. I pit the roses and earth inside the basket to make it a cohesive symbol. White and Red roses mean love and faith which is very important to me. The earth means travel and I love to go and see different cultures around the world that is different to mine. The basket means uncertanitny and I chose that because I don't know what my future holds. My favorite color is purple so thats why the background was purple.
As a team I thought we worked very well for the first time meeting each other. We had a little trouble at first communcating but once we got to know each other a little more it went very well. Next time I would communcate from the beginning and get to know my group a little more before we start.
