Anatomy of Typeface

   

The Overview

For this project, I learned about anatomy of typeface. After learning about that I typed my name and discovered the different terms. I created the project with using adobe illustrator. I made 2 different lines for cap height, baseline, than a dash lined for x-height. Than labeled the different typeface with a pointing arrow.

What I learned

I learned that the marks that letters have actually have a name. I didn't know that before. I also learned new tools in adobe illustrator, like how to make lines more one pixel at a time. I also learned that my name has many different typefaces. Another thing I was taught was how to make an arrow.

How it went

Overall the project was pretty easy because I am learning adobe more. I would want to learn more in depth of different tools for adobe. If I would change anything I would try some different words and find there different typefaces. Than discover the different typefaces in that word.
